The Project
Leading the evolution of workplace design, eBay has launched an extraordinary new approach to their work spaces. Tsunami Axis develop and supply their innovative WorkPlace eVolution program. The program focuses on what eBay employees want from their space, on how they use it, but also on the impact it has in their working culture. New offices empower communication and creativity, foster innovation and allow people to choose where and how to work. We worked closely with Tsunami Axis, Commissioning our great friends at AIM to illustrate and animate the visuals of the program’s web communication. We created a parallax based menu for their website and a short animation video that alludes to the bold evolution of daily working life at the company. AIM Teamed up with the great illustrators at Mother Volcano, bringing together flat illustration, 2D vector animation and an epic musical soundtrack. The purpose, to tell a story of transformation and evolution! We also developed a web parallax composed by twenty, 4 second animation loops showing the different features of workspaces and collaborative areas. Hope you enjoy!
