Design for Augmented Reality
The Aurasma augmented reality app that is a fantastic new media platform for a new form of design content. The app is free to download and you can get started right away creating Auras. We had lots of fun making dinosaurs and animated cartoon monsters appear on our desk and the kids love it, it is like real magic for them. Once the fun is done it is time to consider the real and endless possibilities for this kind of application. Using 3D animation and video content we can create useful real world Auras that can benefit business in numerous ways.
Below is a short video of our experiment where we have made a simple floorplan come to life. Potentially we can zoom into the building and take a walk-through perspective of the apartment. We put this together so you can get an Idea of what is possible.
